What the report can and cannot say
- Activity levels: CDC categories for SARS-CoV-2, Influenza A and RSV.
- Site detections: whether a pathogen target was detected among eligible reporting sites for Measles, avian influenza A (H5) and Mpox.
- No detection in included rows: no positive appeared in the rows Prophet was permitted to include. WastewaterSCAN rows are excluded and not evaluated; this is not proof of no community infections.
- No data: insufficient eligible site reporting; Prophet never converts missing coverage into zero.
- Mpox: Prophet derives a four-week, three-testing-type summary. It is not CDC's official four-category detection classification.
- Not supported: individual risk, diagnosis, exact case counts or a clinical forecast.
- Cadence: Prophet checks daily; CDC publication may be weekly.
